The Gary Player designed South Course is set in a perfect natural environment that varies between inland and coastal areas. At 5,906 yards it is the shortest of the three courses and can be walked or played by golf cart. Twilight and nine holes rounds are available in the afternoon on this course.

A 345 yard Par 4 opening hole. Aim right of the bunker off the tee to set up an easy approach. Beware of the valley in front of the green. A well lofted second shot is ideal here, with the green guarded by a bunker and bushes to the back.

Par 3

A relatively straightforward downhill Par 3 and test for your short irons. Three bunkers protect the green with a wetland area through the back. With the elevated tee be sure to take an extra club when the wind is in your face.

The longest par 4 on the front nine at 429 yards. Aim right of the left fairway bunker to leave a good chance with the approach to a wide but shallow green guarded by bunkers on the left and right. A nice par here will feel like birdie.

A drivable Par 4 for the long hitters but a challenge to keep in play with the hole narrowing the closer you get to the green. Two bunkers on each side of the green and trouble over the back!!!

An interesting short downhill Par 3 with two deep bunkers in front and no room over the back. The wind and club selection is critical on this hole which looks simple but can be deadly.

Incredible valley Par 4 with a very narrow fairway. Sacrifice distance for accuracy off the tee and leave yourself a short iron to a long, narrow and elevated green.

This medium length Par 4 has out of bounds on the left and requires an accurate drive to set up the second shot. The green is well protected by a left front bunker and one bunker over the back.

A mid to long iron to the middle of the fairway is the best option. A wetland covers the entire right side of this hole including to the left and back of the green. The Green breaks from left to right with a shallow bunker in the front left. Play safe on this one.

A left to right dogleg Par 4. Aim to the middle of the fairway with your straightest club. The green is elevated without bunkers. Take an extra half club on the approach.

An uphill Par 4 that requires accuracy with Out of Bounds on both sides . A good tee shot will leave you an uphill approach to a green protected by a deep bunker on the right side. Big hitters may go for the green off the tee.

A tight Par 3 with a bunker on the left and steep slope on the right which will kick balls out of play. Club selection and accuracy is key to hit this two-tier green off the tee.

A great downhill left to right dogleg hole. The left bunker is a good line for medium range players. Long hitters must aim right of the fairway bunker to keep the ball in play. For the downhill approach play one club less.

On this right to left uphill par 4 aim for the middle of the fairway (long hitters could aim 30 yards left) to leave a short pitch to an elevated green protected by a bunker on your right and steep slopes to the left and back.

The longest Par 4 on South Course requiring two good shots to hit the green. Aim for the middle off the tee and right edge of the green with the approach to stay clear of the hazard which runs from 150 yards all the way to the back of the green.

A long right to left par 5 with the widest fairway off the tee on the South Course. The round peak in the distance is the line for your tee shot. The second shot is critical and narrows from 200 yards in. The green is long and narrow and guarded by bunkers on both sides.

The toughest Par 3 on the South Course with a lake in front and bunker through the back. Club selection is essential. Shut your eyes and swing! If you’re going to miss the green long and right is the only place to avoid trouble.

Right of the left-hand bunker is the line off the tee. For the approach, avoid the deep bunker guarding the front right. When the pin is back, play 1 club extra.

Great finishing hole! A strong fade player can aim at the fairway bunker to set up an approach to an elevated green. An extra club is required in most conditions to set up a solid finish.
