Par 5

This 528 yard par 5 opener may be wide off the tee but tightens up for the second shot where a decision is required to either lay-up or carry the bunkers that diagonally split the fairway. The raised green with bunkers to left and right make for a challenging approach.

Par 4

A short but challenging par 4 requiring precision both off the tee and in the approach to a headland green with the South China Sea to the back left and right. Better to be short than long on this one!

Par 3

A tight 174-yard terraced par 3 with cliffs to the right and dense vegetation to the left. The smart play is for the left side of the green to set up a par or better.

Par 4

This 366-yard par 4 is a classic “cape” hole requiring judgement on how much to cut the corner from the middle tees. The rugged bunkering cut into the cliffs will help the golfer to judge distance and line. The horizon green is protected by a deep fairway bunker and protrudes to the sea.

Par 3

This par 3 of 211 yards from the back plays across a small coastal inlet to a large amphitheater green protected by bunkers to the front and left. The tees are located on natural flat areas on the cliffs that lead down to the sea. Take one extra club as the bail out on this hole is over the back.

Par 5

A tough uphill tee shot gets this 527 yard par 5 underway, which if placed well will set up the next shot nicely for either a go at the green for the big hitters or a lay-up short right. This will open up the green which is well protected on the left side by deep greenside bunkers.

Par 4

A well placed tee shot of 240 yards will leave you between the two fairway bunkers with a good view for your approach to a large raised green. A good birdie opportunity here.

Par 3

At 232 yards from the back tees this is the longest and hardest par 3 at KSC. It’s all carry to the green with the only bail out to the left side. Slightly easier from the forward tees as long as the wind isn’t blowing.

Par 4

A long tee shot is required to shorten the approach which is a forced carry over a natural stream. The fairway is large but with the greenside bunker right the design rewards a risky drive played down the left side of the fairway. Par is a great score here!

Par 5

Shortest of the par 5s at 501 yards off the back tee. Distance is critical off the tee to make the second carry over the ravine an easier prospect. The widest part of the second landing area is at the green so you may as well go for it!

Par 4

A dramatic downhill par 4 with views of the rugged KSC coastline as a backdrop. Bunkers short and right at the green favour an approach from the left side of the fairway. The green is large although strongly contoured with a small bailout to the left side.

Par 4

Shortest of the par 4s at 294 yards which may tempt the big hitters but the smarter play is 220 yards to the middle of the fairway to set up a short pitch to the raised green which is well protected by deep bunkers to the left and right.

Par 3

Another classic par 3, the 200 yard 13th plays from elevated tees to a visually intimidating green set on the top of a mountain. This hole offers 360-degree views of the South China Sea. Beautiful but brutal when the wind blows.

Par 4

Perhaps the most dramatic hole on the site this par 4, 395 yard hole plays from elevated tees to a fairway doglegging to the left and heading straight out to a headland point above the South China Sea. With picturesque and rugged islands in the distance, this provides the most classic of many photo opportunities on the East.

This short downhill par 3 of 147 yards is all about club selection and distance control to place a ball on the green between the front bunker and ravine over the back. Be sure to soak up the scenery with a beautiful secluded sandy bay to your left.

Par 5

This par 5 plays up a natural valley and is one of only three uphill holes. The second landing area is well guarded by bunkers, with the ideal second shot carrying the large bunker on the left. For the long hitters trying to reach in two, the green is well protected by two very deep bunkers.

Par 4

A long par 4 of 441 yards requires a good tee shot. The safer play is to the left but those taking a tiger line down the right will be rewarded with an easier shot to the green which is heavily protected by the left green side bunkers. Pay attention to pin placement because there’s a deep swale through the middle of the green.

Par 5

This very challenging par 5 finishing hole requires a tee shot of about 240 yards hit just over the crest of the hill. This will open the views up to the green and second landing area some 40 meters below. A second shot just short of the left fairway bunkers sets up an easier approach and a chance of par to finish your day.
